FAIR ISLE SLIPOVER - "THE FITZROY 24"

Sale price£175.00
Size:

A rather special authentic men's Fair Isle slipover made popular in the 1920s/30s by the then Prince of Wales.  With a dark red pattern and beige ribbing this slipover instantly transports you back to a time of tweed and wool knitwear often worn during that time.

The company that makes our Fair Isle slipovers was established in the early 1890s, and the family have been working with pure Shetland wool for over 120 years.

The knitwear is produced in the Shetland Islands, from their own yarns.  These classically styled knits are constructed from 100% Pure Shetland wool showcasing traditional all-over Fair Isle designs - the perfect combination of luxury and comfort.

This sleeveless sweater will finish off any vintage golfing outfit, perfect for hickory golf days! Slightly shorter in the body to sit nicely on high waisted trousers.

"The Fitzroy 24" is being modelled by Rob.

Rob is 6" tall, has a 40 inch chest and is wearing the size small.
