1930s RIBBED SLIPOVER IN AZURE BLUE

£165.00

This is our newly refined 1930s slipover, crafted from a premium blend of 50% pure Shetland wool and 50% superfine Geelong lambswool. The result is a soft yet exceptionally durable handle—comfortable against the skin, with the strength to stand up to regular wear.

Ribbed throughout and cut short in the body, it features a generous deep V-neck and is knitted directly from an original 1930s pattern. The rich azure blue wool is a period-correct shade that would have been a staple in any well-dressed gentleman’s wardrobe of the time.

It pairs perfectly with our Fairbanks Travellers Jacket and sits neatly on high-waisted trousers, making it a versatile and stylish addition to any vintage-inspired look. Built tough, built to last.

This authentic wool vest—popularised in the 1920s and '30s by the then Prince of Wales—remains as timeless today as it was nearly a century ago. A beautiful, characterful piece that brings classic menswear style into the modern wardrobe.
