Customs & Duties
If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may have to pay Import VAT and Import Duties which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country so we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
For customers outside the UK, VAT will be removed at checkout.
If duty payment is refused and the shipment is returned to us, any courier fees and the original postage cost (if it qualified for free delivery) will be deducted from the refund. If postage was paid this will be excluded from the refund. The refund will be provided on receipt of the returned goods.

Made from beautifully pre-washed soft khaki twill; these shorts are a very close reproduction of a pleated short which would have been seen mainly in a sports environment.
In the 1930s, short styles were loose and billowing, with voluminous amounts of fabric. They were worn high on the waist, often featuring pleats to control the fullness at the waistline while flaring out over hips and upper thighs. This early style of short developed from sportswear, with this style being worn for tennis and similar sporting activities.
This pair has been given a generous leg, and has a wide waistband, double pleats and belt loops. Team our shorts with the ochre coloured Chambray shirt for that Kristin Scott Thomas English Patient look.
