1930s "THE FREDERICK" DEEP CREW-NECK SWEATER

Sale price£185.00
Size:

Introducing the latest edition to our 1930s sweater range, in an evening summer meadow yellow, green and red colourway. A typical Fairisle summer pattern found on  golf sweaters from the late 1920s and early 1930s, this design is a faithful nod to vintage sporting style.

The name “Frederick” pays tribute to the legendary golfer Frederick Robertson McLeod of North Berwick.

Made in the Shetland Isles using robust 3-ply Shetland wool, the sweater features a deep Crew-neck, (which allows for a shirt and tie), a tailored fit, double cuffs, and a shorter length that pairs perfectly with our Errol trousers or Orson Plus 6s. Designed for both style and heritage, it’s a timeless piece.

Design features

-100% Shetland 3-ply wool

-Deep Crew-neck

-Detailed ribbing at neck, cuffs, and waistband

-Shorter body length for a clean, vintage fit

-Authentic 1930s Fairisle pattern

-Made in the Shetland Isles

A long-sleeve crewneck knit sweater with a multicolor Fair Isle pattern on a beige ribbed base, shown against a plain white background.
