FAIR ISLE SLIPOVER - "THE FOLJAMBE"

Sale price£165.00
Size:

A beautiful, authentic Fair Isle slipover made popular in the 1920s/30s by the then Prince of Wales.  The company that makes our Fair Isle slipovers was established in the early 1890s, and the family have been working with pure Shetland wool for over 120 years.  The knitwear is produced in the Shetland Islands, from their own yarns.

The base colour is a soft oatmeal beige, which is complemented by alternating bands of rich burgundy, mustard yellow, rust orange, deep brown and teal blue.

These classically styled knits are constructed from 100% Pure Shetland wool showcasing traditional all-over Fair Isle designs - the perfect combination of luxury and comfort.  A truly stylish piece as popular now as it was in the 20s.  This sweater will finish off any vintage golfing outfit, perfect for hickory golf days!
