A stunning example of a leather kit bag, more commonly known as a Gladstone bag, thought to be made by Barrow Hepburn and Gale. Barrow, Hepburn and Gale was established in 1760, and is still operating and in private English ownership.
This bag is in near perfect condition, after having minimal use (made 2010s). The leather has been fed and is in a nice supple condition, there are no rips or tears and the stitching is all intact and strong. The original lining as you would expect is in perfect condition.
This bag is a good usable size. Measuring 51cm x 28cm x 27cm. You can fit a lot of kit in there! For someone who has always desired one of these, then it's a must have item.
To get a bag like this made would cost a minimum of £2500 plus VAT! If you own a Pre-war classic or just love the style of the 1920/30s then this one is for you.

Customs & Duties
If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may have to pay Import VAT and Import Duties which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country so we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
For customers outside the UK, VAT will be removed at checkout.
If duty payment is refused and the shipment is returned to us, any courier fees and the original postage cost (if it qualified for free delivery) will be deducted from the refund. If postage was paid this will be excluded from the refund. The refund will be provided on receipt of the returned goods.
Please note international shipments may be subject to cross border inspections by customs authorities.
If you would prefer us to pay the duties ahead of posting which makes for a quicker process through customs please let us know. We will then raise an invoice with you and upon settlement the item will be posted.
