The result of over three and a half years of research, development, and meticulous sampling, this cardigan stands apart from anything else on the market. Every detail is crafted with care, with an emphasis on staying as true as possible to the original vintage design. The weight is heavy 6 ply wool, like the original, the tension in the stitch is correct, the all important collar shape is spot on and the overall shape when wearing is perfect. We also used some beautiful crafted Corozo buttons by Courtney & Co. to finish it off.
Made in thick British wool 6 ply that has been washed to soften the feel and to give the garment more rigidity. Its is almost jacket weight, and therefore could be worn as an outer layer on a dry cold day. We have styled it in a traditional tailored way; with a shirt and tie, but it will also look good as a workwear piece, when accompanied with selvedge denim.
