1910s FINNIGAN LEATHER DRESSING CASE

1910s FINNIGAN LEATHER DRESSING CASE

A stunning example of a leather dressing case from the early 1900s by Finnigan. The House of Finnigan was a British Luxury luggage and trunk maker established in 1830. originally in Manchester and later in New Bond Street in London.

This case is in remarkably good condition for its age. The leather has been fed and is in nice supple condition, there are no rips or tears and the stitching is all intact and strong. The original water marked silk is in very good order. The brass lock clips shut as it should and the handle is in strong usable condition. The Finnigan stamp is found on both sides of the case lid.

This case is a nice usable size. Would make a fabulous weekend case. For those travellers who want to travel in style.

Dimensions 33cm x 29cm x 17cm
