1940s DONEGAL TWEED SUIT - BEIGE HERRINGBONE
£750.00
Made in England by a former Savile Row Tailor, using a vintage 1940s pattern. The tweed is a mid/heavy-weight and is in a herringbone pattern woven in Donegal by Magee. This fabric provides an excellent drape which works particularly well with the width of the trouser, showing off the pleats nicely. A perfect vintage cut suit, ideal for the Goodwood revival or any other similar historical events.
This suit was 3 years in the making! It was worth the wait! Made from a mid/heavy-weight herringbone tweed in a beige colour; it would not look out of place on the set of All Creatures Great and Small. A classic tweed country suit. If you are familiar with our trousers, you will recognise that it is our ever-popular Errol trouser, that makes up the bottom part of this suit. The Jacket is lined in a Taupe coloured lining from Heritage weavers, the buttons are Corozo buttons; We have tried to make the best suit we could make. The Jacket is fitted, and the trousers are airy, giving the wearer the perfect 1930/40s silhouette. We did a very limited run on these suits.
