1930s RIBBED SLIPOVER IN NATURAL WHITE

£165.00

This is our newly refined 1930s slipover, now made from a luxurious blend of 50% pure Shetland wool and 50% superfine Geelong lambswool. The result is a beautifully soft yet durable handle—strong enough for daily wear, with the comfort of fine knitwear.

Ribbed throughout and cut short in the body with a generous deep V-neck, this piece is knitted directly from an original 1930s pattern. It’s an authentic, high-quality garment in a natural white wool—exactly the kind of vest that would have been a staple in any gentleman’s wardrobe of the era.

Pair it with our Fairbanks Travellers Jacket and high-waisted trousers for a timeless, heritage look. Built to last, built to be worn—this is knitwear as it used to be.

Popularised in the 1920s and '30s by the then Prince of Wales, the sleeveless wool vest remains as stylish today as it was nearly a century ago. This beautifully made piece is the perfect finishing touch to any vintage-inspired outfit.
