As Seen on TV!

We're always thrilled to see our garments come to life on screen and in theatres, especially when they reflect the period of fashion we're so passionate about.  It's incredibly rewarding to witness the pieces we've meticulously crafted become part of the stores told through film, TV, and stage.

If you haven't spotted where our designs have made an appearance, be sure to check out some of our recent features below!

Dead Boy Detectives

Our designs aren't limited to period films and series set in the 1930s and 40s! We love seeing our work appear in a wide range of genres and settings. Most recently, we had the exciting opportunity to feature in an American supernatural series that aired in 2024. It’s always a thrill to see our pieces transcend time and style, adding a touch of vintage elegance to even the most otherworldly stories.

In London, ghosts Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland are the Dead Boy Detective Agency, solving supernatural cases while hiding from Death. After helping a World War I-era spirit move on to his afterlife, they rescue psychic medium Crystal Palace from her ex-boyfriend David, a demon who steals her memories.

Fantastic Beasts - The Crimes of Grindelwald

Fantastic Beasts is a film series directed by David Yates, and a spin-off prequel to the Harry Potter novel and film series.  The series consists of three fantasy films as of 2024, beginning with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), and following with Fantastic Beasts; The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) and Fantastic Beasts; The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022).  In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Why Don't They Ask Evans

Why Don't They Ask Evans is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie, first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club in September 1934.

When vicar's son Bobby Jones and Dr. Alwyn Thomas play a round of golf, Bobby slices his ball over the edge of a cliff. His ball is lost, but on the rocks below he finds the crumpled body of a dying man. With his final breath the man opens his eyes and gasps, 'Why didn't they ask Evans?' Becoming convinced the man's death may have been a murder, Bobby and his socialite friend Lady Frances "Frankie" Derwent set about solving the mystery

Here's a snap shot of Dr Alwyn peering over the cliff edge in one of our ribbed slipovers.  Keep an eye out for our Plus 6s and other slipovers throughout the series!

"The Fillcot's" Why Women Kill (Season 2)

This season of the dark comedy features storylines set in 1949 that will explore what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society, and finally, the lengths one woman will go in order to finally belong.

Alma’s beloved husband Bertram Fillcot (played by Nick Frost) spends his days as a veterinarian putting sick and injured animals out of their misery. Always kind and good-humoured, Bertram has a secret hobby that is darker than his jovial nature lets on.   We saw Nick Frost sporting two of our Fair Isle slipovers.
