A Swing Back in Time: Goodwood Revival Golf

Last week, we were delighted to be part of Goodwood's Revival Golf, a wonderfully nostalgic day of golf, vintage style and sporting fun, played on Goodwood's beautiful Downs Course.

The day began with every player embracing the spirit of the Revival, dressing to the distinctive Revival dress code and taking on the challenge of playing with traditional hickory-shafted golf clubs.

Players collected their Revival scorecards and hickory clubs before heading out onto the range, giving everyone the perfect opportunity to get to grips with these wonderfully traditional clubs. And while the hickory swing may look effortless, mastering the art certainly added an extra challenge to the day!

Naturally, there was also an important prize up for grabs — Best Dressed. With vintage-inspired outfits, classic style and plenty of attention to detail, there was some serious competition on the sartorial front.

Once the golf was complete, the vintage experience continued. Players could make their way to the Goodwood Revival in the vintage taxi service, arriving in style for an afternoon filled with historic motor racing, fabulous fashion and plenty of entertainment.

It was a wonderful combination of golf, nostalgia and classic Goodwood glamour — a day that brought the spirit of a bygone era beautifully to life.
