Makers mark reads in gold block A&NCSL : Made at the Society works. 105 Victoria St Westminster SW1
This leather suitcase is in remarkable condition for its age. All stitching is intact and in strong useable condition. The patina of this case is simply beautiful. There are the faded intials H.M.G embossed on the lid. One central brass lock complete with its key and two leather straps with brass buckles keep the lid firmly closed. The interior of the case is in imaculate condition and is lined in a red cotton fabric, with the Army & Navy badge stamped on the lid. The leather handle is in strong useable condition, attached to the case with heavy-weight brass D rings.
Ideally this suitcase would sit nicely on the back of a 1920s Bentley, if the Bentley is stuck in the garage then it could work as a nice weekend case.
